Turkish opposition candidate Ekrem Imamoglu wins in do-over of Istanbul’s mayoral race, dealing blow to Erdogan's ruling party



The opposition party's win in an election in March had been annulled by the state election board after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's ruling AKP party challenged the outcome. AKP candidate Binali Yildirim conceded the race shortly after 7 p.m.
