There's a universality to that statement that I think pretty much sums up the human ego. Which is why I'm particularly fond of quoting St. Jerome's Latin translation of Ecclesiastes 1:15 "perversi dificile corrigunter et stultorum infinitus est numerus.
TQ translates this to English as "The Stubborn are hard to teach, and the number of fools is infinite."
