Robert Reich just SLAMMED Republicans (WOW!!)

Political thinker Robert Reich believes that “America must make it easier to vote, not harder.”

Political scientist Robert Reich just SLAMMED Republicans for making voting more difficult for the poor, elderly, and disabled.

"Republicans claim it's easy to get a government-issued photo ID.
The fact is, it's not.
Which is why Republican legislatures and governors are so intent on requiring it -- from the poor, the elderly, the infirm, the geographically isolated -- in other words, from those most likely to vote for Democrats.
America must make it easier to vote, not harder." [1]

- Robert Reich

Robert Reich understands that restrictive voter ID laws, slashing election budgets, and reducing polling locations are done to keep Democrats from accessing the polls.

That’s just wrong. If you agree please sign your name today:

The truth is, these voter suppression laws are taking over the country:

Since the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act in 2013, Republicans in 22 states have passed laws that create barriers to the ballot box.

From requiring photo identification to eliminating the option to vote early or by mail, research shows these moves target minority voters “with almost surgical precision.”[2]

It’s not just wrong. It’s illegal.

Federal court judges have already overturned voter suppression laws in Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Texas. But many Americans are still living under voter suppression laws.

Enough is enough. Sign our petition today if you agree with Robert Reich that voting should be made easier for ALL Americans.
