Message to Alita Holly @noetical (21 MAY 2012)

I've got 28 people who so-called "follow" TQ NEWS.  I have NEVER, however, gotten a comment, mention or share on any post from any of them at any time.  What I don't know is: "What does it mean to follow?"   Do they show up in Google Reader?  Do they show up as e-mail?  I may be overkilling the promotional thing by offering all three possibilities.  Since you and I aren't connected anywhere else, I'd love to know what your experience is?  Meanwhile I'll join this site and see what happens.  I've been blogging for quite a while now, with over 320,000 pageviews and I don't know much more about the mechanics of it than I did in 2009. Actually, the only reason I joined twitter and Facebook was to promote Google Blogger.  Looking forward to your response.
Yours,

Terry Travers

5K ISN'T EVEN HALF-WAY! 8)

I want to thank all of you who have followed and/or subscribed to this blog, and to all who visit it via Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Google Search, Google+ and the many other vehicles. This was supposed to be Post # 5,000, but because I messed up in posting between TQ RED and TQ YAYAS, and had to do some transferring, it's actually # 5,002. That's a lot of posting, and we're happy to have gotten very close to 113,000 hits in the last year and a half. We plan to post even more in the future, but will be using more streamlined methods to proselytize them. Thanks for listening. Thanks for watching. Thanks for being #comrades.
